“Serpentine” has a double meaning:

It is both serpent-like and seductive. In this case, both meanings are true.

With the Original Sin in mind – Adam and Eve, the serpent and the apple – we bottled and designed this expression.

This Peated Israeli Single Malt was matured in a very small cask, about 50 litres, so the 3 years of maturation feel like many more as the whisky aged in a warehouse in the Golan Heights. The cask previously held Israeli Apple Brandy, and this expression is the first fill.

Bottled at the ideal strength of 57.2% ABV.

Nose: Honeycomb, green apples and aromatic floral notes combined with a slight peaty smoke.

Palate: Smoked meats and Sulphur, baked green apples and citrus peels.

Finish: Very long, fruity and earthy, full of Sulphur and peat smoke.
